The sample kits have been a smash hit. We've been breaking into accounts we never had a chance on before. They're so different and unique that people's jaws hit the floor when they see them.
After 30 years of successful operation and growth, Glenmore Custom Print & Packaging (formerly Glenmore Printing & Imaging) implemented sweeping changes throughout the company. Although they enjoyed a loyal customer following, management invested millions in new systems, equipment and technology to remain vital and to access new markets. They then hired Red Rocket Creative Strategies to develop a strategic marketing plan and launch a new era of growth for Glenmore.
Following a brand overhaul that reflected Glenmore’s new direction and state-of-the art facilities, we created new sample and shipping boxes that showcased Glenmore’s expanded capabilities for package printing. Our goal was to immediately identify Glenmore as a fresh innovator with a commitment to detail and quality.
For the sample kit boxes, we incorporated the new brand’s large, colorful G along with a sturdy construction and rich, soft-touch laminated finish to help sales reps reinforce the many advantages of using Glenmore’s new 40” UV press. We also printed the Glenmore name pattern (created for their brand identity system) on the inside panels. This detail added a bit of luxury and enhanced the sense of quality.
The shipping boxes, although not as luxurious, featured a large, blue G on a white background. This color scheme helped Glenmore stand out from the industry’s standard brown kraft shipping boxes. We also proposed a more dramatic, full-color solution using the same theme as the sample boxes (shown above). This concept may be phased in over time.
The new packaging theme meshes perfectly with Glenmore’s comprehensive brand strategy and will serve the company for many years to come.
