Glenmore Custom Print & Packaging (formerly Glenmore Printing & Imaging) has operated successfully for 30 years. Its reputation is well established, and the company enjoys a base of loyal customers. Management, witnessing rapid industry change, recently invested millions in new systems, equipment and technology. They then hired Red Rocket Creative Strategies to develop a strategic marketing plan and launch a new era for Glenmore.
A major element of the marketing plan was a brand overhaul to reflect Glenmore’s new direction and state-of-the art facilities. The new brand had to align with, and celebrate, the company’s expanded capacities for print and packaging, UV finishes and large-scale projects.
We began by custom designing an identifiable upper case “G” that established a unique and strong identity for Glenmore. In support of this mark, we developed a fresh tagline, “Custom print and packaging,” that reinforced the company’s new direction, facilities and services.
The new mark presented a bolder and more modern tone and included a distinctive fold in the tail of the G to signify the company’s print and packaging focus. The mark also provided a launching point for a comprehensive identity system, one that employed a series of texture-rich images to highlight Glenmore’s expanded print and finishing capabilities. Stationery items, presentation folders and sample kit boxes were designed with the same series of bold, colourful photographs and a variety of finishes to help sales reps reinforce the many advantages of using their new 40” UV press.
This versatile identity system can be adapted to virtually any branding application for the company, including building signage, staff uniforms and delivery vehicles, maintaining a consistent and recognizable identity that will serve Glenmore for many years to come.
