Teck Cominco’s business is much more than mining rocks. It is stakeholder engagement, it is community participation, it is wealth creation, it is reclamation, it is technology, it is product utility. Red Rocket developed the Annual Report’s “This is More than a Rock” theme, directed the photography, designed the document, and coordinated the printing of this 100 page report and the manufacturing of CD’s containing the electronic version. The design challenge was to represent the company’s diverse activities while making the report’s content easily understood. Copy pull-quotes and the employee inspired photography were used effectively to draw the reader into the document.
