DE-CLUTTER YOUR LIFE

Do you have clutter? Are you in denial? Here’s how to identify an object as clutter: If you don’t remember the last time you used it, its clutter. If you don’t know how to use it, its clutter. If its too nice to use, its clutter. If its broken, its clutter. If you don’t like it, its clutter. Is your life filled with clutter? Here are some tips to get rid of it:

• Start in a room that you don’t use often, that way the process won’t disrupt your daily life.

• Work at the time of day you have the most energy. Decide how long you are going to sort ahead of time, set a timer, put on some happy music, and get to work!

• Sort items in each room according to the following categories:
1) Things to keep
2) Things to give to friends and family
3) Things to sell at a garage sale
4) Things to donate to charity
5) Things to trash
6) Things you can’t decide on

• Ask yourself these questions when sorting:
Do I really like/use this, or am I keeping it out of habit?
Is it well-made and built to last?
Does this fit in my space?
Is it high-maintenance, and can I maintain it?
Have I used it in the past year?
Can it be easily replaced?

• Get rid of things quickly. Don’t waste time bringing trash to the curb or calling your favourite charity to come pick up items. The sooner you get it out, the better you’ll feel, and the more space you’ll have to start sorting through the next pile.

• Embrace the inevitable–as soon as you get rid of something, you are going to find a need for it. Accept this fact and don’t feel guilty! Living without the clutter and the stress it brings is worth this very slight inconvenience.

Embassy's Site Construction

Embassy Development Corporation is a new company to the Lower Mainland construction scene. Guided by Ryan Bosa the company has solid credentials and firm roots in the community. Not only is Embassy a developer but they also are the builder of their projects. This bodes well for homebuyers as property integrity is the responsibility of just one company. This is unusual in a world where some developers hide behind numbered companies to protect themselves from warrantee related issues.

Embassy needed a website to convey their unique business acumen. One that is young and fresh, but experienced and principled at the same time. The ability to look someone in the eye and provide a direct and honest answer is a reflection the Embassy’s integrity and business practise.

They came to Red Rocket to help deliver their message to an educated market.
A diverse range of people, fresh and inviting colours, movement and straight talk are the foundation of this engaging site. Not only is the Embassy story effectively told, there is a robust data collection system and email marketing tool integrated into the site - form and functionality all in one.

We’re especially proud of our involvement with this progressive firm.
