In the Internet world your browser is the key to accessing everything. Several browsers for the most part do the same job, displaying websites and search engines, but they process them differently (viewing a website on older versions of Internet Explorer may be different than on Firefox for example).

I often encounter people tasked with the responsibility of rebuilding their company's website. They are overwhelmed with the advancements of web technology and find it difficult to understand where the starting point for such a project should be. I have to agree with them. It can be a confusing and daunting process. But with a bit of planning and the right web development team, it can be made into a predictable and pleasurable project. In describing how to approach the project I like to use the comparison to organizing a dinner party for your boss's spouse.

Mobile and Responsive Design.
Making use of the latest approaches in web design we created a mobile version of our site using CSS3 Media Queries. Viewing our site on a mobile device you will see a specially designed layout that adjusts the content to fit the narrower screen size.

Everyone has been “the new kid” at some point in their lives. At school, in a neighbourhood, a book club or the workplace. Some people try to blend in, some make a strong first impression, some wait to assess the dynamics of the situation.
What happens when you are unquestionably the different one? Your skill set and life experience are light years away from the others’, and your job is to support their artistry; in my case, that’s partly why I was hired. I make sense of the administration side, so they can create.

We’ve just completed our most trying web project to date!
Although the project had no pending deadline, the project brief brought forward a long list of requirements, technically, strategically and graphically.

6 hours drive away – the Red Rocket web team, Sean, Caroline and I made it down to Portland for the 2011 Pacific Drupal Summit.
It’s an event we look forward to every year. Last year, I met Sean at the 2010 Pacific Drupal Summit. Funny how it worked that Sean ended up working with Red Rocket. Overall, it’s just great to get out in the community, make new friends, and stay on top of things.
